The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed about the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly status sassa functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. sassa The assistance point designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and increase access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
